Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Description:
Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a full- time dental assistant to join our amazing KY team! Mid America Health is hiring a dental assistant to work Full- time, 40 hours per week, between the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex in West Liberty, KY and the Little Sandy Correctional Complex in Sandy Hook, KY. This amazing dental assisting opportunity will work Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. This dental assistant position will work between 2 facilities, Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex - 2 days weekly, and Little Sandy Correctional Complex- 3 days weekly. This position is a rewarding, low stress alternative to private practice dentistry that offers health insurance, including optional dental and vision coverage as well as generous paid time off and paid holidays. There are no late nights or weekends required for this position. Mid America Health offers competitive compensation of $20 per hour.

Duties:
Routine chairside duties include preventive, restorative, extraction and prosthodontic care. No ortho, crown & bridge or endo required. Significant administrative duties are also required.
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred
- KY X-Ray Certification required
- CPR for Health Care Providers
