We’re hiring a hands-on Productivity Engineer to help improve manufacturing efficiency at our Palo Alto facility. This role focuses on process improvement, automation, and workflow optimization to reduce production costs while maintaining the highest product quality.
You’ll work closely with Operations and technicians to analyze manufacturing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements—from automation ideas and tooling to production layouts and documentation.

Salary Range $140,000 - $175,000 depending on experience

- creating and achieving project goals under an aggressive completion schedule.
Manufacturing Engineer Is Responsible For Four Primary Objectives
- Reducing operational cost through implementation of efficient process improvements,
- Creation and maintenance of comprehensible manufacturing documentation and instructions.
- Creating and achieving project goals under an aggressive completion schedule.
- Maintain the highest quality level for the products being produced.
- Implement and program manage automation ideas to improve Productivity
- Drive Productivity cost reduction initiatives through daily actions, project management and report on progress weekly
- Find and implement innovative solutions through basic problem solving and advanced technology
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and facility layout
- Ensures compliance to customer requirements
- Trains and guides technicians through manufacturing process development and improvement
- Responsible for the development of manufacturing instructions, and other manufacturing documentation
- Create and update process documentation to include production floor layouts and operating instructions
- Design fixtures and tooling to facilitate pre-production testing and stable production processes
- Participates regularly in the review of production quality deficiencies and immediate corrective actions

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of implementing and supporting automation in a high-volume mix manufacturing environment
- Highly proficient at and knowledgeable of automation, production tools, equipment, and technology
- Ability to physically implement projects as necessary to keep project(s) on schedule.
- Ability to lead and work independently
