Are you a skilled IT professional with a strong background in SAP and a passion for ensuring compliance and control? We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team as an SAP ITGC Controls Specialist.
In this role, you will play a critical part in our global ERP system, ensuring that all SAP S/4HANA IT General Controls (ITGCs) are performed in accordance with company policies and standards. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to support our operations in China and Germany during their working hours. Key Responsibilities
Perform SAP S/4HANA IT General Controls (ITGCs) in accordance with company policies and standards.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and audit requirements.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ITGCs and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain control documentation and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain ITGCs.
Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for control enhancements.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to SAP ITGCs.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ITGCs.
Communicate and report ITGC status and findings to management.
Train and educate team members on ITGCs and their importance.
Participate in internal and external audits related to ITGCs.
Identify and address any gaps or deficiencies in ITGC processes.
Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure integration and compatibility of ITGCs with other systems.
Stay informed about SAP updates and ensure ITGCs are adjusted accordingly.
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Location: Houston, TX (with flexibility to work hours that overlap with Germany and China).
Job Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience with in-depth knowledge of SAP ERP systems, including modules such as PP, FICO, SD, MM, and EWM.
Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA.
Minimum 4+ years of experience working in U.S. public companies with exposure to Big 4 auditors.
Experience With ITGC Controls: This role requires a thorough understanding of ITGC (Information Technology General Controls) and how they apply to SAP ERP Systems. The candidate should have experience In performing ITGC assessments and audits.
Familiarity with global operations and compliance: As Microvast is a global company, the SAP ITGC Controls Specialist should have experience working with global teams and understanding compliance requirements in different countries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: The candidate should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential ITGC control gaps and propose solutions to address them.
Communication and collaboration skills: The SAP ITGC Controls Specialist will be required to work with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Sales, Production and Internal Audit. Therefore, strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
Willingness to work hours that accommodate a global company and supporting a global team.
