The Logistics Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the seamless coordination, tracking, and delivery of materials, equipment, and research samples that support our energy projects worldwide. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex logistical operations in a remote, cross-functional environment.ResponsibilitiesPlan, schedule, and track domestic and international shipments of research materials, laboratory equipment, and technical components.Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant delivery.Maintain accurate logistics records, including shipment documentation, customs declarations, and inventory reports.Monitor transportation performance metrics and recommend process improvements to optimize cost and efficiency.Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and field operations teams to forecast logistics needs and manage inventory levels.Ensure compliance with applicable import/export regulations, hazardous materials guidelines, and sustainability standards.Support logistics data analysis, reporting, and digital systems implementation (e.g., ERP, supply chain management platforms).Troubleshoot logistics issues proactively, communicating delays or changes to relevant teams.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in sustainability, supply chain transparency, and data integrity.Qualifications1 years of logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination experience (energy, research, or technology sector preferred).Proficiency with logistics and project management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs documentation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote setting.Experience supporting energy or R&D programs (renewable energy, materials science, or laboratory operations).Familiarity with sustainability logistics principles and green supply chain practices.Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
