Position Summary

The Logistics Coordinator – Order Fulfillment & Planning is responsible for coordinating daily order fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse operations at our York, PA facility.

This role is hands‑on and decision‑driven. You will review and analyze incoming orders, plan shipments, prioritize work, and anticipate issues before they impact customers. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, understands the bigger picture, and stays ahead of operational challenges.

Compensation reflects the level of ownership, order planning, and proactive problem‑solving required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment & Planning

• Review and analyze customer orders to determine fulfillment priorities
• Plan daily shipping schedules to meet 24–48 hour fulfillment timelines for consumable goods
• Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently
• Proactively identify inventory constraints, carrier cutoffs, or workflow issues and take corrective action before delays occur

Shipping & Carrier Coordination

• Schedule and coordinate shipments with contracted and common carriers
• Select shipping methods based on cost, transit time, and customer requirements
• Track shipments, resolve delivery exceptions, and manage shipping documentation

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory replenishment
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment

Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Communicate clearly with internal teams to align priorities and prevent bottlenecks
• Support warehouse staff during peak periods to meet shipping deadlines
• Identify opportunities to improve fulfillment accuracy, efficiency, and workflow

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in logistics coordination, shipping, or warehouse operations
• Experience arranging shipments with carriers
• Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Basic computer skills for order tracking and inventory management (Sage experience is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience prioritizing and planning orders in a fast‑paced environment
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience handling laboratory, technical, or high‑value equipment
