Job Summary
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and hygiene throughout guest rooms and public areas of the hotel. The role ensures guests enjoy a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment while adhering to hotel standards and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and toiletries.
- Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and sanitize bathrooms.
- Replenish room supplies and amenities.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Clean corridors, elevators, lobbies, and other public areas as assigned.
- Handle guest requests promptly and professionally.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Properly use and store cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and report shortages.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods.
- Basic communication and customer service skills.
