Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring food presentation is appealing and replenished promptly.
- Assist with food preparation, including slicing, plating, and maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, buffet stations, kitchen equipment, and food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Greet guests warmly, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent guest service throughout their breakfast experience.
- Manage food handling procedures responsibly, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately.
- Support catering or banquet setups as needed and assist with bussing tables to ensure a tidy dining environment.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience or food preparation background preferred; enthusiasm for learning new skills is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and phone etiquette.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting trays or moving supplies.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous; hospitality or restaurant experience is highly valued.
- Familiarity with meal preparation, coffee service, or catering operations is beneficial.
