Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all residential or hotel areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to maintain spotless surfaces
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ needs promptly and professionally
- Manage custodial supplies inventory and ensure all cleaning equipment is well-maintained and operational
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as scheduling or training new team members (if applicable)
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or custodial roles preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation standards required
- Experience with laundry operations and carpet cleaning techniques highly desirable
- Background in janitorial or commercial cleaning environments is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or guests
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus but not mandatory
- Previous roles involving hotel experience or housekeeper management will be considered an asset
