Duties
- Oversee overnight front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth
- Verify and balance daily financial transactions, including billing, payments, and account adjustments
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Respond to guest requests and concerns with a friendly, solutions-oriented approach to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV footage, conducting patrols of public areas, and controlling access points
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to ensure smooth handovers between shifts
- Assist with administrative tasks such as updating reservation records and managing multi-line phone systems using proper phone etiquette
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality and hotel operations with prior hotel experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally and courteously
- Proficiency in front desk procedures, including multi-line phone systems and reservation software
- Knowledge of night audit procedures, hotel management systems, and basic accounting practices
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of hospitality and security
