We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring all hotel linens are cleaned, folded, organized, and delivered to housekeeping while also maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel’s public areas and laundry facilities.

Duties
- Collect dirty linens, towels, and other laundry from guest rooms and housekeeping carts.
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize all hotel linens according to hotel standards.
- Deliver clean linens, towels, and supplies to housekeeping storage rooms and housekeeping carts.
- Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
- Clean lint traps and the bottoms of dryers at the end of each shift.
- Take out trash from the laundry room, public areas, employee areas, and around the outside of the building.
- Replace trash bags as needed.
- Help maintain clean and tidy public areas, including hallways, lobby, restrooms, and entrances.
- Report any damaged linens, equipment issues, or maintenance concerns to management.
- Follow all safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines.
- Assist with other housekeeping or hotel duties as assigned.
- Handle various cleaning tasks across public areas such as lobbies, hallways, conference rooms, and restrooms to ensure all spaces meet sanitation standards.
- Manage the safe handling and application of chemical agents in compliance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and hotel safety protocols.
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies, furniture, and equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay.
Skills
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong understanding of sanitation practices.
- Skilled in floor care techniques including floor cleaning, stripping, waxing, and polishing using industrial cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and the safe use of cleaning agents to ensure health and safety compliance.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, extractors, and mops efficiently.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems and protocols for maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and manual handling tasks required in a busy hotel environment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Previous hotel laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule:
