Duties
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, linens, towels, and other supplies to meet guest needs efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Perform floor care tasks such as mopping to keep all flooring in top condition
- Handle laundry duties by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels according to hotel standards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a clean, safe environment for guests and staff alike
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work or hospitality housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures
- Prior hotel or hospitality experience that demonstrates familiarity with guest service standards (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and custodial practices for large-scale or high-traffic areas
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints while maintaining quality
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues effectively
