Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant and Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming and clean breakfast area one morning of the week for our guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent service will contribute to an enjoyable dining experience for all visitors.
In addition to the one morning in Breakfast we have multiple days of housekeeping available per week. Weekends are required.
Responsibilities
- Set up the breakfast area each morning, ensuring all food items are stocked and presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, floors, and serving stations.
- Perform regular cleaning tasks, including floor care and janitorial duties, to uphold high standards of hygiene.
- Interact with guests in a friendly manner, addressing any questions or concerns regarding the breakfast offerings.
- Assist in the breakdown of the breakfast setup at the end of service and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Monitor food supplies and report any shortages or issues to management promptly.
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to maintain overall cleanliness in the dining area and guest rooms.
- Clean assigned guest rooms to the hotel standards
Skills
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong cleaning skills with experience in custodial or industrial cleaning environments.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
