Summary:

The Plant HR Manager will play a critical role as a member of the plant's leadership team in supporting the operational goals through effective HR strategies while fostering a positive and enriching work environment for employees. This position requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day HR operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the plant's operational goals through HR strategy, including working with key facility leadership on workforce planning and development
- Act as a member of the plant leadership team in achieving general day-to-day plant goals and needs
- Provide full employee life cycle services including engagement, retention, performance management, employee relations, and training as it fits into the operational goals and support needs of the facility.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, local employment and benefit laws and regulations
- In partnership with leadership, support health and safety initiatives to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and laws in occupational safety and health
- Ensure a positive candidate and hiring experience, including pre-employment and onboarding processes
- Liaison with temporary contractor agencies and manage relationships and overall support
- Update and maintain timely and accurate employee and payroll data
- Continuously find ways to improve and streamline processes that support operational goals
- Perform other duties and assignments as required

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- At least 5 years of human resources experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Bilingual – fluent in English and Spanish
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus
- Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel to Tucson, AZ quarterly
