Responsibilities
- Define and execute a multi-year vision and strategy for Teams’ data and analytics platforms, aligning with Microsoft’s broader initiatives.
- Own Teams’ end-to-end data lifecycle including instrumentation, collection, processing, transformation, storage, and activation to drive scalable, trustworthy analytics solutions.
- Build, mentor, and lead a diverse team of product managers, fostering a culture of curiosity, inclusion, and customer obsession.
- Partner with engineering, data science, and product teams to develop scalable, AI-infused analytics platforms and drive cross-team alignment.
- Establish and track key performance indicators to measure platform impact and deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure platforms meet evolving business needs and support ethical, compliant data practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8 years experience in product management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1 year(s) people management experience.
- 6 years of experience using modern big data platforms and technology while displaying analytical thinking, problem solving, and data analysis skills.
- 6 years of experience of driving mission-critical platform projects with cross-company or cross-industry stakeholders.
- 6 years of experience leading platform initiatives with measurable cross-org or cross-industry impact, including accountability for stakeholder alignment, strategic outcomes, and execution across at least two distinct business units or external partners
- 6 years of experience of communicating with and presenting to high-level business stakeholders and executives.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Bachelor's Degree AND 12 years experience in product management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3 years people management experience.
- 4 years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
- 6 years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
- 6 years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Background in data privacy, compliance, or governance.
