Quality Assurance Tester
Location: Micropower LLC - Troy, OH
Department: Manufacturing
Reports To: Production Engineering Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Tester, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our industrial battery chargers meet the highest standards of performance and safety. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Applying live power to industrial battery chargers up to 600 VAC in a controlled environment
- Programming chargers and related products according to specifications
- Accurately reporting all testing data into the daily log of the operating system
- Performing detailed quality checks on each charger tested
- Providing hands-on support to the production line when needed
- Conducting basic troubleshooting to identify and resolve product issues
Qualifications
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious individual with the following qualifications:
- Minimum Associate’s degree in an Engineering related field or 4 years’ experience working with industrial power systems and equivalent safety training
- Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong quality focus and commitment to excellence
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical documentation
- Forklift experience is a plus (but not required)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A ‘Safety First’ mindset is non-negotiable

- Pay Rate: $20–$25 per hour
- Vacation: Two weeks paid vacation
