Description
The Packaging Technician is responsible for inspection, preparation, labeling and packaging of raw materials and finished goods prior to sewing or cleanroom packaging or stocking into inventory. Responsible for packaging integrity and quality checks on each packaging order. Works independently or as part of a team to carry out multiple tasks or projects. Productive worker with solid work ethic in successfully completing tasks by being dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and success.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
· Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sorting
· Stage and inspect raw materials and semi processed products
· Inspect and package general components prior to stocking or final processing in Cleanroom
· Move product and inventory for staging
· Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
· Maintain a clean and organized process flow
· Assist as needed in other areas of Production
· General understanding of all part numbers processed through production area
· Informed understanding of SOPs that impact general employee and quality activities
· Establish a working relationship with department Supervisor
o To review daily tasks
o To efficiently track product per batch/work order
o To inform of any anomalies in processing of product relating to:
§ Machines
§ Maintenance
§ Raw material

Qualifications
Minimal Qualifications include:
· Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
· Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions

Preferred Qualifications include:
· Experience in manufacturing

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
