1. Description
The Cleanroom Technician works in a controlled environment and is familiar with the stringent nature of gowning, product handling and movement associated with cleanroom etiquette. Responsible for processing all products that undergo final processing and packaging in cleanroom. Works under supervision to carry out multiple tasks or projects. Productive worker with solid work ethic in successfully completing tasks by being dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and success.
2. Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and enforce all applicable standard operating procedures and policies
- Work with Cleanroom Supervisor to manage the flow of product from support areas through to cleanroom packaging
- Perform line clearances and quality checks following SOPs, Manufacturing Instructions and Good Documentation Practice.
- Train, track and mentor co-workers as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work flow
- Stage and inspect raw materials and semi processed products in readiness for cleanroom process
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions, machine performance to the department supervisor
- Follow relevant SOPs to ensure correct gowning and monitor co-workers
- Follow required cleaning practices after each work order and/or shift change as outlined in relevant SOPs and Manufacturing Instructions
- Understanding of all part numbers processed through production area
- Informed understanding of SOPs that impact general employee and quality activities
- Informed understanding of GSS system with regard to logging into shifts and works orders
- Liaise with Cleanroom Supervisor and/or Lead–
- To review daily tasks
- To efficiently track product per batch/work order
- To inform of any anomalies in processing of product relating to:
Machines
Maintenance
Raw material
- Complete routine tasks with minimal supervision

Physical and Ergonomic Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time with limited mobility
- Ability to wear constricted gowning procedures: booties, bunny suit, face masks, hood, safety glasses, full shoe cover and double gloves
