Monitor probed material and performs manual yield accounting utilizing defect references. Perform advanced data analysis on new issues, documents findings and communicates to part owners. Mentor and assist FA technicians with yield investigations. Perform Electrical Failure Analysis and communicate Results. Summarize investigation findings into a single report, including the potential root case. Mentor and assist FA Technicians with complex FA testing and techniques. Operate all lab equipment while adhering to defined safety guidelines. Understand equipment operation and perform all required tasks and basic troubleshooting of uM3 – Micromate, Merlin/Raptor tester platform, Emission tools, MPI Probe Stations, and Nanoprobe tools. Work to support company and department objectives and vision plans. Suggest improvements for department and work with leadership to implement changes.

- Performing electrical and failure analysis;
- Performing advanced data analysis to support failure analysis results in pursuit of root cause;
- Performing electrical characterization of DRAM semiconductor memory components using Merlin or Raptor test platform;
- Performing IR Emissions characterization on parametric electrical failures on specific designs for DRAM semiconductor components; and
- Operates Lab Equipment such as probe stations, parametric device analyzers, and curve tracers.
