What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Engineer, DRAM PI position at Micron Technology?

Work with process owners for DRAM integration. Establish structural requirements for DRAM devices in current and future products. Analyze the data related to DRAM integration such as SEM, TEM, inline film thickness, Inspections, and Electrical measurements. Work on resolutions for deviations. Assess DRAM CMOS structure and layout and define the requirements for DRAM CMOS. Lead and coordinate joint technical efforts with the process teams to resolve complex process-related issues that impact CMOS performance or yield. Debug process related issues in current/future technology nodes: Planar and wafer bonding and beyond. Continuously monitor and analyze inline fab process data to ensure the health of the line and to identify and troubleshoot issues related to yield, performance, and reliability. Lead structured DOE for yield, reliability and process window characterization May telecommute part-time.
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

- Semiconductor devices, processes and characterization techniques
- High performance logic technologies (14nm and beyond)
- Data analysis, device characterization and process integration
- Performing electrical characterization of CMOS devices and CMOS circuits to identify device improvement directions
- CMOS technology and its impact on overall product figures of merit
- Design, TCAD and modelling groups
- Python, JMP, and SPC
