With over 200 systems in Technology Development and similar designs planned for Idaho Fab 1, our operations focus on bulk slurries, solvents, and aqueous chemistries. We specialize in delivering safe, efficient, and innovative chemical system solutions.
The Facilities Chemical Systems Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing chemical distribution systems that support fab operations. This position involves multi-functional collaboration, technical design review, and hands-on troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and safety across Micron’s manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate designs for new chemical equipment installations.
- Provide technical input on current system capabilities to internal partners.
- Organize and facilitate meetings and project teams efficiently.
- Troubleshoot complex chemical system issues and identify root causes.
- Support construction and installation projects to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.
- Relevant degree or certification in Engineering, Semiconductor, Chemistry, or related field.
- Desire and ability to physically work on chemical distribution systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of chemical theory, instrumentation control theory, and high-purity principles.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate across subject areas and drive efficiency improvements.
- Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Three or more years of experience in chemical systems engineering.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
- Advanced PC skills including SPC, MICAP, Ariba, and SAP.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information effectively.
