The team focuses on defect detection, inline metrology, and signal analysis to ensure process stability and product quality. By leveraging statistical methodologies and automation systems, the RAM team drives continuous improvement and supports the development of next-generation memory technologies.
We are seeking a highly motivated Process Integration Intern to join our RAM team in Boise, ID. This internship offers hands-on experience in semiconductor process integration, with a focus on in-fab measurement performance, RDA signal analysis, and process control optimization. You’ll be assigned a project designed to span the duration of your 3-month internship, with training provided to ensure safe and effective participation in cleanroom fabrication environments

Responsibilities
- Analyze defect and metrology data to identify process trends and anomalies.
- Support process control initiatives using SPC and DOE methodologies.
- Investigate deviations in measurement results and propose corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve measurement accuracy, tool matching, and data integrity.
- Assist in tool health monitoring and calibration routines.
- Work with fab automation systems to troubleshoot data collection and integration issues.
- Take initiative to drive your assigned project to completion.
- Present findings in a verbal presentation near the end of the internship.
- Junior-level status in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Must be a current student and not graduating before September 2026.
- Passion for working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and JMP.
- A mindset for continuous improvement and creative problem solving.
- Ability to recognize and escalate process anomalies with urgency.
- Solid understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DOE (Design of Experiments).
- Experience with scripting, programming, or visualization tools (Python, Java, Tableau, Matlab).
- Strong data intuition and visualization skills.
- Familiarity with data collection systems, warehousing, and cleansing.
- Hands-on experience in data analytics and database querying.
