The Facilities Operations Electrical team supports Micron’s manufacturing environment by ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical electrical infrastructure. The team partners closely with Engineering, Operations, Construction, and EHS to reduce risk, maintain system readiness, and prevent impacts to fab production. Strong communication, continuous improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration are central to the department’s success!
This role plays a critical part in maintaining electrical system reliability and enabling safe execution of fab activities. The Facilities Operations Medium Voltage Electrical Coordinator serves as a technical and coordination resource, guiding electrical work from planning through execution while supporting safety, compliance, and production priorities.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate medium‑ and low‑voltage electrical maintenance, switching, vendor work, and fab‑impacting activities
- Develop and execute electrical switching procedures with CoHE and LOTO compliance
- Lead troubleshooting, audits, safety initiatives, and root‑cause analysis
- Manage project planning, scheduling, cost estimating, contractor oversight, and change management
- Provide technical guidance through design reviews, system analysis, and risk‑reduction improvements
- Knowledge of low‑voltage electrical systems and applicable electrical codes
- Experience coordinating or leading maintenance or project activities
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Trade school certification or electrical license
- Five years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical environments
- Experience with medium‑voltage electrical systems
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and equipment design details
- Experience with project estimating, budgeting, or capital planning processes
