Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC
Identify and mitigate defect excursions in semiconductor fabs. Collaborate with process areas to give an early indication of the viability of process conversions. Vendor onboarding and daily logistical support. Coordinate the installation, modification, upgrade, relocation and maintenance of RDA equipment. Production support including monitoring and reacting to OOC and OOS SPC charts. Transfer of recipes and techniques from R&D. Inspection recipe writing/solving at a basic level. Backup for optical or ebeam tool owner groups. Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Study equipment performance and reliability. Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Define and write preventative maintenance schedules. International travel required.
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Equipment Engineer-related occupation.

Position Requires
- Development and deployment of high-end Real-Time Defect Analysis (RDA)/Inspection solutions tailored to address industry-wide GAP layers in semiconductor inspection;
- Cross-functional initiatives to enhance tool capabilities across systems, software, and services;
- Designing and optimizing RDA/Inspection applications on advanced inspection platforms to support critical process control in DRAM manufacturing;
- Creating and implementing BKMs to maximize tool throughput and performance;
- Development, demonstration, and evaluation of RDA tools;
- Managing the transfer and alignment of tools, recipes, and applications between High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) fabs and across tool platforms;
- CIP initiatives focused on enhancing tool performance and operational efficiency through systematic improvements in software, hardware, and process integration.
