Micron Laser Technology is seeking a Administration Associate for our Hillsboro, OR location.
This is a full time position working Monday-Friday with potential overtime as needed. Hours will be days (8:00am – 5:00pm, one hour unpaid lunch)
Compensation is dependent on experience and ranges from $22-$26 an hour. Full Benefits package offered including medical, dental, retirement plan 3% company matching, quarterly profit sharing, ongoing tuition reimbursement, paid time off, paid sick time. On the job training provided.

- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Plan and schedule appointments and employee events
- Greet and assist onsite guests
- Data entry and management of organized filing systems
- Supervised bookkeeping clerical duties
- Assist Customer Service and Order Fulfillment teams
- Assist the CEO and Ownership group in assigned tasks
- Perform all other office tasks
- US citizen or permanent resident with unrestricted rights to work in US.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and email communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, work independently or as part of a team, with little or no supervision to complete job requirements.
- Ability to respond to machine alarms - audible or visually distinguish different colors.
- Ability to coordinate with Ownership, Production Management, Sales Management and other employees to ensure that customers and employees are supported.

Technical terms and jargon related to the industries we serve and the technology / processes we utilize are relevant for fulfilling job requirements. - Technical Documentation: Complete ability to read, understand, and interpret basic work orders and specifications. Understand and apply document control including revision control, engineering change control, and internal work order travelers.
- Core Math Skills: Complete ability to read, understand, and interpret basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), percentage calculations, and an understanding of decimals and negative numbers. The applied use of these skills to verify data, evaluate financial statements, understand reports and detect errors.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent minimum required with typically 1 or more years of related experience.
- A Associate degree or higher is preferred.
