Role Overview
The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions on the Salesforce platform.
This role requires strong technical expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and system integrations, along with the ability to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions aligned with business requirements.
Core Responsibilities
Application Development:
- Build and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Develop custom workflows, triggers, and automation solutions - Design and implement custom business logic and reusable components
- Optimize solutions for scalability, performance, and maintainability
Integration & Data Management - Implement integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools
- Design and execute data migration strategies ensuring accuracy and integrity
- Manage data models, transformations, and synchronization across systems
Collaboration & Documentation - Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and QA teams
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and design artifacts
Required Skills
Technical Expertise
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Experience with Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, flows, validation rules)
- Solid understanding of Java, SOQL, SQL, and web services
- Familiarity with Salesforce Clouds Sales, Service, Experience (Community), Marketing
Certifications
Must Have
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
Good to Have
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
Experience - 5 years of Salesforce development experience
- Hands-on experience with customization and integration projects
- Strong exposure to Lightning framework (LWC)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices preferred
