Job Description: Ability to research, analyze and qualify sales leads from various sources Ability to create valid business reasons to engage with new sales leads in early sales funnel stages Ability to fearlessly engage virtually with new “potential” client stakeholders over phone, email or web conferencing Ability to use creative approaches for new client engagements and problem-solving activities Facilitate projects across global locations and utilization of corporate resources Engage clients through corporate outreach initiatives Ability to think differently, communicate and collaborate Ability to reprioritize with little notice Identify new clients that provide the best ROI for Microchip and disposition to appropriate channel for growth Some knowledge of semiconductor business segments (i.e. wireless, touch and security applications) Requirements/Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Communications with 0-3 years experience Effective verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint Ability to work with Microchip global sales team and clients on a virtual basis Keen attention to detail and organization Professional and dependable Familiarity with virtual marketing platforms such as: Salesforce, CRM or Equivalent Marketo Travel Time: No Travel Physical Attributes: Feeling, Hearing, Seeing, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around Others Physical Requirements: 40% sitting, 30% standing, 30% walking Microchip Technology Inc is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
