5DX Operator

Summary:

Operate Automated Optical Inspection Equipment and identify defects on circuit board assemblies. 

 Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the AOI machine.
• Demonstrate the ability to load the proper program, load and run boards, and log defects as appropriate.
• Proficiency with and working knowledge of MPI MIS (Aegis) software is required.
• Component Identification training is required.
• IPC 610 Certification required.

• Operator can perform inspection tasks using the 5DX X-ray machine tasks independently using instructions with high accuracy and high speed, including:
• Operate the 5DX machine with proficiency
• Recall and load the appropriate programs for each work order
• Identify defects and record them properly
• Identify false calls and report trends to the programmer

Operator can perform inspection tasks using the 5DX- X-ray machine tasks under moderate supervision using assembly instructions with high accuracy and moderate speed, including:Operate the 5DX machine with proficiency.

• Education: 0-3 years of industry experience or equivalent is required.
