The Facilities/Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility infrastructure and support systems in a manufacturing environment along with servicing inoperative machines and performing preventative measures to ensure reliability. This role requires demonstrated electro-mechanical or mechanical experience and the ability to work safely with electrical and mechanical systems.
This is not a general labor or basic maintenance position. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing facility systems rather than routine machine cleaning, fluid changes, or light bulb replacement.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Electrical & Electro-Mechanical Systems
- Troubleshoot and repair facility electrical systems, including but not limited to motors, compressors, and support equipment
- Replace and wire electric motors, ensuring proper polarity, phase, and rotation
- Diagnose and replace high-voltage fuses, breakers, and related components after demonstrated competency
- Identify root causes of blown fuses or electrical faults in compressors and other facility systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
- Use electrical test equipment (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.) safely and accurately
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repair on facility equipment such as:
- Air compressors
- Pumps
- Computer Numerical Controlled machines (CNC machines) and the components therein
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Work in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Properly document repairs and maintenance activities
Required Qualifications
- Electro-mechanical or mechanical maintenance experience is required
- Proven ability to:
- Perform mechanical repairs
- Diagnose electrical failures in electrical systems
- Perform low to mid-level electrical repairs
- Working knowledge of electrical safety standards
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Manufacturing or industrial facility maintenance experience
- Formal training or certification in:
- Electrical systems
- Industrial maintenance
- Electro-mechanical technology
- Experience with compressors, HVAC, and building systems
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in mechanical rooms
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial environments
- Manufacturing facility
- Exposure to electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and moving machinery
