Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to process customer orders from start to finish, coordinating with departments like sales, production, and logistics to ensure orders are accurate, timely, and meet customer expectations. Key responsibilities include order entry, tracking, inventory management, problem resolution, and excellent communication, which are essential for success in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately enter customer orders into the system, manage closing of WIP, and handle order changes or cancellations.
- Monitor the entire order Process and Procedure and verify that orders are fulfilled correctly and delivered on time.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure products are available and coordinate with the Supply Chain Manager as needed.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Production teams to resolve order-related problems and ensure a smooth flow of operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any conflicts or errors that arise during the order process before putting the Work-Order on the floor.
- Generate reports on order progress, identify trends, and make recommendations for improving systems and procedures.
- Accurately manage all orders to the production line.
- Enter, update, and track orders and order-related activities through appropriate customer portals and order management systems.
- Create sales orders and purchase orders in our ERP system, verify data accuracy, manage order approvals, and submit orders to the appropriate operations team.
- Communicate order-ready dates with Sales and Manufacturing Manager.
- Ensure customers receive shipments on time and that any changes are communicated with the customer or account management team as appropriate.

Required Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in engineering technology and or 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Technical aptitude and experience with tools and machinery
- Global Shop experience preferred
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment and a manufacturing setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, and calculators. While on the floor, you may be subject to loud noises.
Physical Demands:
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
