Job Summary

Responsible for leading and overseeing a large operational team (50 employees), providing direction, coaching, and support to supervisors, team leads, and staff to achieve business objectives related to productivity, quality, safety, employee development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise employees within the assigned department, ensuring team members are properly trained, meet established performance objectives, and perform their duties safely and effectively.
• Provide guidance and support to supervisors and team leaders in the management of daily operations and workforce activities.
• Monitor operational workflows, identify issues impacting performance, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee employee training programs and ensure required documentation, certifications, and compliance activities are maintained.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and manage employee development, performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, promotions, and compensation recommendations.
• Review departmental records and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of work areas to promote a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

Preferred Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an operational, manufacturing, distribution, service, or similar environment.
