What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electro-Mechanical Assembly Tech position at Micro Tech Staffing of Worcester?
Experience with soldering is a plus but not required, training available for candidates with a background in electronics manufacturing
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble precision electro-mechanical assemblies with a focus on high-quality standards.
- Perform electrical testing to ensure product functionality and compliance.
- Operate hand tools, measuring tools, and various equipment required for assembly and testing.
- Inspect components and finished products for quality, ensuring they meet specifications.
- Perform hand soldering as needed (training provided if you lack experience).
- Follow established procedures for documentation and record-keeping.
- Recognize and report deficiencies or issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems and troubleshoot assembly issues.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related field.
- Strong manual dexterity and the ability to work with small components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, documents, and assembly instructions.
- Knowledge of in-process assembly procedures and quality standards.
- Basic mathematical aptitude and ability to solve problems.
- Ability to sit or stand at a workstation, work in a clean room environment, and use hands/tools effectively.
