Key Responsibilities
- IT Operations & Support: Oversee core infrastructure, networks, hardware, software, and help desk services across all MTAm sites. Ensure reliability, security, and a smooth user experience. Strengthen distribution list governance, manage identity and endpoint standards, and support early morning or evening collaboration across China, US, and LATAM time zones.
- Strategy & Innovation: Build and execute the IT roadmap, including system upgrades, AI opportunities, and emerging technologies that support business scale. Standardize processes through clear SOPs and playbooks and improve global collaboration tools to drive efficiency.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Lead security, privacy, and disaster recovery practices that reduce risk and keep the business protected. Maintain simple, actionable incident response plans and ensure data residency, access, and sharing are compliant across international teams.
- Financial & Vendor Management: Manage IT budgets, third party contracts, and vendor relationships to maximize value. Drive thoughtful vendor consolidation and maintain clear reporting on total cost of ownership, renewals, and risks.
- Hands On Leadership & Collaboration: Lead a lean, high performing IT team with a balance of strategic direction and hands on execution. Set clear goals and KPIs, coach team members, and partner closely with cross functional and global colleagues across the US, China, and Europe. Act as an “interpreter” between technical teams and business leaders to align priorities and enable better decisions.
- Project Management & Process Improvement: Own program and project management discipline. Plan, sequence, and execute IT projects with crisp milestones and consistent updates. Improve core processes such as security, data, networks, document management, and automation. Lead the continued rollout, adoption, and optimization of Feishu/Lark in the US and ensure repeatable operations through well maintained SOPs.
- Communication, Change Management, & Training: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for executives and individual contributors. Deliver concise status reporting for global stakeholders. Create training, documentation, and adoption plans tailored to different audiences to ensure changes land smoothly and deliver measurable outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
- 8 years of broad IT experience, including 3 years leading people in a hands-on environment (infrastructure, networks, cloud, cybersecurity, hardware, backup).
- Experience managing IT budgets and vendors, plus at least two major systems implementations in the past 3 years, including work that required alignment across different business units or organizational boundaries.
- Completed a collaboration platform migration within the past 3 years (e.g. Feishu/Lark, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace) with documented adoption results.
- Proven ability to support rapid growth (for example, doubling headcount or revenue within 2 to 3 years).
- Willing and able to collaborate during early morning or evening China time zone windows.
- Ability to translate IT strategy into business terms and drive change with executives, frontline teams, and global partners.
- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
- Experience ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Hands on knowledge of Feishu/Lark and a track record of successful implementation and adoption.
- Background in an FDA regulated or medical device environment.
- Mandarin language capability.

Work Environment & Travel
- Hybrid role, primarily office-based.
- Travel up to 10% to U.S. sites and occasional conferences.
