Pay rate: $65,000- $95,000 (DOE)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by delivering consultative, solutions-based sales within an assigned territory. This role combines technical knowledge with strategic sales execution to support customers in highly regulated and precision-driven industries. The ideal candidate can translate complex calibration requirements into tailored service solutions while building long-term client partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Own and grow regional territory, meeting or exceeding revenue targets through new business and account expansion
- Engage in consultative selling based on technical requirements, applications, and compliance standards
- Develop and execute territory strategies targeting high-value clients across assigned industries
- Identify, qualify, and close new business through proactive prospecting and outreach
- Conduct client visits to assess equipment, calibration needs, and service requirements
- Partner with technical teams to develop customized calibration solutions and proposals
- Prepare and present technical proposals, pricing, and negotiate contracts to close business
- Act as liaison between customers and laboratory teams to ensure technical alignment
- Maintain and grow sales pipeline using CRM tools with accurate forecasting and reporting
- Stay current on industry standards, regulations, and competitive positioning
- Drive retention by identifying risks, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with operations, customer service, and leadership on execution and client experience
- Travel 30%–60% for client visits, site assessments, and business development activities
Requirements and Skills:
- At least 5-8 years proven experience in technical sales, outside sales, or account management
- Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based sales methodologies
- Ability to interpret technical requirements, specifications, and compliance standards
- Experience in regulated industries (aerospace, defense, medical, manufacturing) preferred
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Self-motivated with ability to manage a regional territory independently
- Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management tools
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel consistently within region
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
