Calibration is performed to NIST traceable standards, A2LA accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL, and known for our quality and speed, with a 5-business-day turnaround.Position Overview:We are looking for experienced an Calibration Technician specializing in Accelerometer Calibrations. You'll ensure the accuracy and reliability of clients' measurement instruments, requiring precision, organization, and communication.Responsibilities:Calibrate, verify, and adjust accelerometers and related dynamic sensors.Use vibration shakers, signal conditioners, and precision equipment to conduct calibrations.Generate calibration certificates and documentation in accordance with standards.Maintain and verify reference standards used in accelerometer calibration.Assist in troubleshooting equipment and ensuring compliance with technical procedures.Collaborate with engineers and quality personnel to support technical audits and continuous improvement initiativesRequirements and Skills:Must have proven Accelerometer Calibration experience.Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training and familiarity with ISO 17025 standards preferred.Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.Organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines effectively.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for potential onsite customer visitsValid driver’s license, clean record, and U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.Benefits: MQC offers comprehensive benefits includingDental, Health, Vision, Life InsurancePaid time off, Referral program, 401k (with a 4% match)We are an Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.Company DescriptionMicro Quality Calibration (MQC), established in 1978, is a leading A2LA ISO/IEC 17025-2017 Accredited Metrology lab specializing in calibration, repair, testing, and sales of precision measurement instruments.
