What you’ll tackle

  • Build and execute a targeted business development plan tied to company objectives.
  • Prospect via networking, market analysis, and outbound campaigns to create qualified pipeline.
  • Strengthen client, partner, and stakeholder relationships to accelerate adoption.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to decision-makers.
  • Continuously scan industry trends and competitors to refine approach and messaging.
  • Report KPIs, forecasts, and insights to senior management.
  • Represent our brand at conferences, site visits, and industry events.

Must-haves

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, or related; MBA preferred.
  • 5 years in business development/sales; manufacturing or industrial automation is a plus.
  • History of achieving revenue goals.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal ability.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Comfort in fast-moving, team-based and independent settings.
  • CRM experience and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Willingness to travel to clients and events.

Even better if you have

  • 10 years in technical sales, sales engineering, or field sales support.
  • Automation, Robotics, or specialized technical market experience.
  • High computer application literacy (Microsoft Office; eager to learn internal systems).
  • Account leadership calling on multi-level plant/facilities management.
