Job Summary:
This position supports our Module Assembly and Test Department and is responsible for maintaining the assembly equipment, including programming surface mount equipment, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and overseeing the spare parts inventory for the equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Program various pieces of surface mount equipment for use by production assemblers (pick and place, automated optical inspection, reflow ovens, and selective solder machines).
· Perform and document scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment.
· Perform and document simple repairs on production equipment.
· Oversee the ordering, control, and upkeep of spare parts inventory for factory equipment.
· Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
· Associates degree in Electronics, Electronic Technology, or Electro-Mechanical Technology.
· Ability to maintain and repair a variety of complex production machines.
· Ability to read and understand schematics.
· Ability to work effectively with others.
· Ability to multitask between multiple priorities.
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Preferred 1 – 2 years of job experience within an electronics manufacturing environment.
· Experience with programming and operation of surface mount assembly equipment. (printers, pick and place, reflow ovens).
· Working knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing.
· Experience in IPC-A-610.
· Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite.
