Job Summary:
This position reports to the Applications Engineering Manager and is responsible for providing technical support to our customers once they have purchased our electronic burn-in test system, in order to assist the customer in getting the system operational in their production environment.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
· Four years relevant experience with electrical / electronic products, writing code for software or firmware along with troubleshooting experience on hardware.
· Printed circuit board testing and troubleshooting experience.
· Inquisitive problem-solver with strong technical aptitude.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
· Experience with multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
· Understanding of digital logic.
· Ability to read electronic schematics.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Python; general programming knowledge and ability.
· Familiarity with Cadence software.
