Job Summary:
This position supports our System Manufacturing Department and is responsible for performing testing on our large electronic test equipment sold as capital equipment to the semiconductor industry, including power up, functional system verification and final check-out of equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Execute checkout procedures to verify system functionality.
· System power-up verification.
· System functional testing.
· Verify circuit card electronics per diagnostics.
· Pre-power check.
· Make incoming power and facility connections.
· Verify all safety circuits for functionality.
· Test, burn-in and hi-pot high powered supplies and transformers.
· Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
· Maintain a consistent, acceptable level of quality and productivity.
· Perform other duties as directed.
Required Qualifications:
· Associates degree in Electronics Technology or related field.
· Ability to follow test and checkout procedures.
· Proficient with the use of oscilloscopes and DVM’s.
· PC competency.
· High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
· Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Three years relevant experience.
· Ability to read electrical circuit schematics.
· VFD, PLC and network switch controller experience.
· Mechanical aptitude.
· Knowledge of AC components and control circuitry.
