It is Micro Center’s core promise to take care of our associates and customers which has led to our success over the last 40 years!Salary range is: $18 - $21.00 per hourMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate the execution of all pricing sign batches to ensure all signs are accurately placed on products; this includes all high theft items kept off the floorProcess daily price changes, print daily temp sign batches, and coordinate placement of signsRe-ticket product with new permanent price based on the daily price change report from Home OfficeAlert Inventory Control Supervisor of over/short quantitiesEnsure all products in storage areas are represented on the sales floorCheck the accuracy of products signed against the price shown in the POSRe-ticket expiring promotions as neededMaintain Clearance pricing to meet scheduled price changes based on aging datesStay current on all communications from customers, associates and Home OfficeAssist customers in finding productsMaintain the department by ensuring a clean work area, conducting cycle counts, stocking and replenishing product and participating in merchandising activitiesSupport store operations by maintaining loss prevention awareness and helping to prepare for and conduct physical inventoryParticipate in open and close proceduresPerform other duties and tasks as assigned EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalentKnowledge of Microsoft OfficeProfessional appearance and demeanor and a sincere interest in helping customersThe ability to communicate professionally and handle multiple projects at oncePhysical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs., stand for prolonged periods of timeShifts include hours after and after the store is open to the public and may also include mornings, nights, weekends and holidaysPrevious retail customer service or merchandising experience is preferredMICRO CENTER OFFERS EXCEPTIONAL BENEFITS:Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits Coverage for Regular Full-Time AssociatesEmployee Discount that includes a Friends & Family Discount ProgramTuition Reimbursement & Education DiscountsPaid Time Off for Regular Associates401K Plan with Company MatchEsteemed Vendor & Company Job TrainingCareer Advancement OpportunitiesOUR GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES:At Micro Center, we empower our employees to set their sights high and blaze their own trails.
