Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our automotive repair team. This role involves repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship. Experience in dealership settings, MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, and auto estimating is highly valued. The Auto Body Technician will work closely with customers and team members to deliver exceptional service and vehicle repairs.
Responsibilities
- Repair and restore damaged vehicle bodies using auto body repair techniques and tools
- Perform auto painting
- Conduct welding tasks such as MIG welding, and other fabrication processes involving sheet metal and structural components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for vehicle repairs and assembly
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks including minor mechanical repairs when necessary
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with team members
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in auto body repair, and auto painting
- Skilled in MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and vehicle maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
