A new opportunity has opened up at Mickey’s Car Wash & Detail Shop! We are looking for a part-time experienced, professional Detail Manager to oversee our Detail Shop and help develop our customer base.
Our standards are to produce precision cleaning to every vehicle that we service to the best of our ability.
We are looking for a professional, experienced Detailer that is comfortable and skilled at working with our current customers, as well as working to expand our current customer base. The Detail Manager, in addition to overseeing the Detail Shop, will work to add new customers on a continual basis as a primary function of the role. For the successful candidate, the position will grow into full-time.
We are looking for expertise in detailing including, but not limited to,:
Exterior Vehicles -
- Professional exterior hand washing of all vehicle types from motorcycles to large trucks, vans and small buses.
- Clay Bar Application.
- Buffing with various pads and products and in-depth knowledge of both.
- Ceramic Coat Application.
- Hand Wax Application.
- Sealant Application.
Interior Vehicles -
- Professional hand clean all vehicle types hard surfaces such as dashboards, door panels and consoles
- Meticulous vacuuming of every nook and cranny
- Steam Clean rugs and fabric upholstery
- Shampoo rugs and fabric upholstery
- Stain Removal
- Pet Hair Removal
- Protectant Application on fabric and leather
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee Detail Shop
- Detail vehicles as scheduled to an agreed upon time
- Keep Detail Shop clean after every detail
- Inform ownership of items that need to be ordered weekly
- Follow Mickey’s Detail Shop procedures and protocol
- On a weekly basis, work on increasing customer base through outreach to potential customers which may include meeting with potential customers, mailing and/or emailing promotional information.
Compensation:
Combination of an hourly rate and commission on new sales.
