Job Summary
The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This role requires expertise in various auto body repair techniques and the use of power tools to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Duties
- Perform automotive repair tasks including dent repair, frame straightening, and panel replacement
-Ability to inspect and diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles
-Assembly and auto body repair to restore vehicles to their original condition, within estimated times
- Operate a variety of power tools to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
- Following management instruction and direction to complete jobs in a timely manner while working with and assisting co-workers for efficient production flow
- Collaborate with mechanics to ensure comprehensive vehicle repairs per company standards
Skills
- Proficiency in automotive repair techniques
- Experience with power tools and welding equipment
- Knowledge of auto body repair processes and procedures
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for addressing various vehicle issues, and the physical stamina and condition, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping your workspace free of safety hazards and clean. Ability to perform various actions such as but not limited to: lift heavy objects, bending, squatting, sitting and standing.
