Director – Finance (Railroads)

Responsibilities:

·        Manage analysts to support a 6-8 person rail team

·        Process tax credit transfer and closing transactions efficiently and accurately (hundreds of transactions annually, multiple steps)

·        Modify contract language

·        Support grant applications

·        Work with state agencies and tax authorities

·        Coordinate complete and accurate documentation/diligence files

·        Communicate effectively – written and verbal

·        Comfortable asserting priorities and moving things along

·        Establishing and holding accountable to deadlines

·        Strong relationship skills with customers and counter-parties

·        Research skills

Advancement

·        Find new and different state tax credits, build out inventory to satisfy unmet buyer demand

·        Find buyers to build a robust state tax credit buyer base

·        Lead and/or support capital formation for existing and new customers

·        Site selection services to new and expanding industrial locations
