The ideal candidate will be able to package sugar to our customers' specifications while satisfying all regulatory and Safe Quality Food requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run consumer packaging equipment at set rate
- Perform quality checks to verify finished products meet customer requirements
- Complete necessary documentation for all operations
- Lift 100 pounds
- Operate sugar bagging and palletizing equipment
- Demonstrate good communication skills by reporting problems to team leader or other team members
- Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner
Position Qualifications:
- Previous work experience in a production environment
- Able to perform basic computer skills on a daily basis
- Learn, follow & promote all SQF & GMP quality system guidelines & safety practices
- Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in hot conditions
- May be required to drive fork truck as needed
- Work any shift and weekend overtime as required
