Summary of Physical Demands
Lifting of 26 to 75 pounds and occasional lifting of over 75 pounds is necessary.
Bidding eligibility ends June 2, 2026 at 11:55 P.M.
- Will collect, sort, and transport soiled and clean linen.
- Will orient new Building Sanitation Workers and student employees to the assigned facilities.
- Properly cleans and stores the above equipment and other general maintenance equipment after use.
- Always keeps workers’ storage and work areas clean.
- Locks and unlocks outside doors of buildings.
- Assist students with minor building-related and maintenance problems.
- Will do minor repairs and do incidental painting.
Minimum Requirements
- One year of satisfactory work experience as a Building Service Worker or an equivalent combination of training and experience is necessary.
- Lifting of 26 to 75 pounds and occasional lifting of over 75 pounds is necessary.
- Ability to relate to, and work wit h college students and college personnel.
- Good physical condition.
