Position Summary

The Educational Program Coordinator II supports the planning, coordination, and execution of workshops, conferences, and educational programs for the Office of K-12 Outreach. In this capacity, the individual manages the operational and logistical components of program delivery. Responsibilities include coordinating event timelines, securing facilities, arranging travel and accommodations, processing contracts, providing the department FO with event-related costs and monitoring expenses, and overseeing all day-of-event logistics. The position works closely with the Director and program leadership to support agenda development and speaker coordination, ensuring all elements are aligned and executed effectively.

The role also supports program implementation by coordinating materials, managing registration processes, maintaining participant communications, and ensuring all necessary documentation (e.g., CEUs/SCECHs, billing, and reporting) is completed accurately and on time. The individual gathers feedback and evaluation data to support continuous improvement of programs and participant experience.

A key component of this position includes marketing and communications coordination. Responsibilities include designing and producing promotional materials (e.g., flyers, social media graphics, and presentations), maintaining website content, and ensuring consistent branding across all communications.

This role serves as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders—including faculty, partners, speakers, and participants—to coordinate logistics and ensure clear, timely communication. The position may also represent the Office in meetings related to program coordination and event planning.

Additionally, the Educational Program Coordinator II may provide functional supervision to student employees and support staff, coordinating their work related to event logistics, marketing, and program delivery. The role also includes general administrative and operational support, such as calendar coordination, travel arrangements, and maintenance of organizational systems that support efficient program execution.
