We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position requires proficiency in medical office procedures, including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and insurance verification, as well as knowledge of basic medical billing practices.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and answering phone inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers to enhance patient care.
- Handle incoming calls using phone systems effectively while providing excellent customer service.
- Support clinic operations by performing administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Proficiency in using eClincal Works, Weave, or Collectly is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing high-quality patient care are crucial for success in this role.
