Overview
We are a small, family-owned restoration company looking to expand. We built our business on hard work, reliability, and taking care of our customers. As demand continues to grow, we are looking for a dependable, motivated team member to grow with us.
Water damage restoration is our primary focus. You will be on the front lines responding to emergencies, removing water, drying structures, and helping restore homes and businesses. This role also includes carpet cleaning, air duct cleaning, and general handyman work. If you like variety, solving problems, and working with your hands, this is a strong fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to water damage calls and perform initial assessments
- Extract water using pumps, vacuums, and specialized equipment
- Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers and dehumidifiers
- Use moisture meters and thermal imaging to detect hidden moisture
- Remove damaged materials such as drywall, flooring, insulation, and cabinetry
- Perform cleaning and sanitation to prevent mold and prepare for reconstruction
- Take photos and document all work for job tracking and insurance purposes
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Maintain equipment, vehicles, and job sites
Additional Responsibilities and Skills
- Carpet Cleaning: Hot water extraction, stain treatment, and odor removal
- Air Duct Cleaning: Clean and sanitize duct systems
- Handyman Work: Light carpentry, drywall repair, painting, trim work, fixture installs, and basic plumbing
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently in the field
- Willingness to take on a variety of tasks
Qualifications
- Experience in water damage restoration preferred
- Experience with carpet cleaning or air duct cleaning is a strong plus
- Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and restoration equipment
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, construction, or general repairs
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
