This dynamic role has a significant impact on patient care, faculty development, and scholarly achievement, and is accompanied by a faculty appointment (Clinical- or Tenure-Track) at Associate Professor or Professor rank. - Clinical Leadership: Manage faculty schedules and clinical operations, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Advancing Scholarship: Promote a productive and collaborative research environment, supporting faculty achievement and interdisciplinary initiatives.
- Fostering Education: Cultivate a thriving learning culture for trainees and faculty, enhancing mentorship, teaching, and professional growth.
- Faculty Development: Oversee evaluations, recruitment, and development.
- Collaborating for Impact: Partner with leadership across the Division and Institution to advance clinical innovation, research, and educational excellence.
Required Qualifications*
We Seek Leaders With
- M.D. or D.O. with board certification in Cardiovascular Medicine. Additional qualifications and certifications in lipidology, cardiac imaging, etc. are welcome.
- Eligibility for Michigan medical licensure.
- Distinguished record of clinical and teaching achievement and scholarly productivity. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in mentorship, education, and faculty development.
- Commitment to fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Academic rank and track will be determined by qualifications and experience.
