Job Summary
We are seeking for a highly motivated Lab technician to work in collaborating projects between the Hoang and Rao's labs in the
University of Michigan. Our research encompasses a wide range of topics, including retinal organoids, glial biology,
neurodevelopment and retinal disorders.
Responsibilities*
The successful applicant will provide technical support and collaborate with other lab members. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Candidates must hold a Bacehlor degree at the minimum, with basic bioinformatics/computer science experience. Candidates need to be highly self-motivated and willing to learn new concepts/techniques.
Desired Qualifications*
Experience in NGS sequencing data analysis, including single-cell RNA-Seq, total RNA-Seq, small RNA-Seq, scATAC-Seq and bulk ATAC-seq data analysis, is highly desirable. This postion is best fit for a person who want to get more experience and prepare for higher education.

- Assist with sequencing data analysis, such as RNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq data and epigenetics, and gene regulatory network
- Assisting and training new lab members
- Be involved in manuscripts/reports preparation.
